NEIMS Group of college is one of the oldest educational institutions in north Eastern Region imparting education in management and other professional disciplines. Established in the year 2000 under NEIMS Society vides registration no. JOR/238/A05 under that act XXI of 1860.It is situated in the heart of Jorhat, the pre independence era Capital of Assam. The First program of the group established under “Directorate of Technical Education”, Govt. of Assam with the approval of AICTE.

In recent years, NEIMS has taken several steps in its pursuit of excellence. in the year 2017, NEIMS has established the“College of Teacher Education’’ approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to Dibrugarh University with sound infrastructure, dynamic managerial system, highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers.
